Thom is the owner, operator of Macomb Petland. Thom purchased Macomb Petland in 1991. Thom’s interest in animals goes back the 1950′s when he first started keeping and breeding tropical fish, and bringing home snakes, frogs and toads from the local pond. Thom has taken courses from The Pet Joint Advisory Council with topics including: reptile veterinary care and husbandry, small animal veterinary care and husbandry, bird veterinary care and husbandry, and courses in ferrets care, and fish care and effective use of medications.
